top 5 holiday destinations.

The beginning of September has arrived and that means kids are going back to school and the end of the summer holiday is officially here.
Thinking that, I've always got my next trip planned in my head, so I've compiled a list of the top five places that I'd like to visit (in no particular order).
Paris - I've been to Paris loads of times before, but now that I'm older I feel as though I will love the experience even more. It's one of those sophisticated cities where I can explore the nightlife and shop until I drop (literally).

LA - The more YouTube I watch, the more I have this constant need to be in LA. It's mostly the food that's calling me, but the atmosphere just seems so chilled and it's somewhere that I definitely need to go soon.

Japan - Okay, this is a huge one and definitely not realistic at the moment, but I don't think that there is anyone who doesn't want to visit Japan in their lifetime. Everything seems so advanced; there are countless places to explore, and again, the food...

Dubai - Going back to Dubai is a must for me, especially when I have an insane amount of spending money at my disposal. There is so much to learn about the culture, which makes it somewhere that you can enjoy with both family and friends. I will be sure to take full advantage next time.

Baltimore - This is more like my second home but I have not been back in SO long and I really miss it. From what I remember, it is quite chilled with so many places to see in the city as well as in the surrounding areas. The Inner Harbor, Aquarium, many museums, and we can't forget my favourite, outlet malls.

Where would you like to go on holiday?

happy new year! - reflections & resolutions.

2013 was an amazing year for me. Like everyone, I had my ups and downs within both my personal life and my career, but overall I saw the year as a step in the right direction for me.

The year started with my dedication to finish uni, and I got my degree in Journalism. I sought out and was able to complete life-changing internships, experiencing different aspects of an industry I hope to pursue my career in. This then led to a job as a PR manager which allowed me to face the harsh reality of the industry...nothing comes easy. Through education and the experiences that I have been lucky enough to have, I now have the skills and practice to be able to go in a lot of directions.
Through my blog and other online outlets, my freelance career has developed and progressed greatly. I have had the opportunity to work with amazing people and awesome brands, both in beauty and in fashion. I love every second of what I do.
I have been surrounded by the most supportive people. Old and new friends as well as my family have constantly been with me through all of the good and the bad, and for that, I am so grateful.

2014 came around so incredibly quickly, and honestly, I haven't got these major plans or changes that I want to make in my life. On New Year's Day I tweeted 'no regrets. constant creativity. complete freedom.', and those are my resolutions. I hope to regret nothing, continue to explore my creativity and create amazing content, and be completely free in everything that I do. All of these will hopefully lead on to great things.

I want to thank every individual that finds themselves on my little space on the internet. Your views, comments and just general presence has changed my life in the greatest way, and I appreciate all of you.

happy new year, jayj x.
