These days people are working hard and don’t have time to shop. If you are one of these hardworking executives, you will benefit from the tips we offer. Every woman needs a “go-to” outfit for daytime attire and also for evening attire. When you look good, you will feel even better. Here are some tips and suggestions for how you should dress for the occasion.

You should always be prepared with a daytime outfit because you never know when the moment will arise to meet with someone for an impromptu meeting. In my opinion, every woman should have a basic pair of trousers that can be interchanged with a t-shirt, blouse, or button-up. This basic pair of trousers can be interchanged to make three outfits by changing shoes, scarves, and earrings or by simply adding a cardigan! As always, eyeglasses complete the look. Try adding a pair of stylish and smart frames to your outfit.

These days cardigans can be oversized and adorned with a belt or cardigans can be fitted and a scarf can be added around the neck to dress up the outfit. An oversized sweater with leggings and booties is also a great way to go.

If you want to be more casual, try a pair of flats or sneakers. Dress up the outfit with a pair of wedges or stilettos. Either way, you will be fashion-forward and beautiful!

Every woman should be prepared for the evening. A nice black cocktail dress is a good idea to have in the closet. If you like the androgynous look, you can even wear tuxedo pants, suspenders, a nice button up shirt, and a tie. When you wear a fedora and stilettos, you will be the talk of the party even without wearing a dress! It’s a great way to shake up the monotony. Don't be afraid to step away from the norm!

A nice pair of long pearls can be added to the ensemble to add contrast to the outfit. With your hair tied back, you will look like you just stepped out of a high fashion magazine. The look can be delicate and feminine or edgy and masculine depending on the person’s preference. Oh, by the way, a pair of glasses with thick frames will make the look complete!

Don’t be afraid to interchange the pieces of your ensemble. You can increase the longevity of your wardrobe just by using ingenuity. Try it! You’ll be amazed by your creativity.

an outfit staple - denim jackets.

Every girl struggles with a certain item of clothing or an accessory that they want to use to complete their look. Sometimes it is jewellery, sometimes it is shoes, but every outfit has that one piece that makes it unique and individual. For me, my favourite way to complete an outfit is by wearing a staple from my wardrobe. With all the colours, the prints and the madness that is going on in my outfit, bringing it all back down to earth with a staple adds that touch of originality, and a timeless piece such as a denim jacket, is the perfect way to do so.

Denim jackets have been around forever and there is no-one you can ask that can say they haven’t ever owned one. Recently, having a vintage style denim jacket has been on trend amongst young people. Vintage denim takes us back in time and adds a sense of the past to a look. You can wear them sleeveless, cropped or oversized, and still have a touch of edge and style with every outfit. They have also been modernised and put in contrast with other trends. You can find denim jackets with leather accents, colour blocked with different shades, and mixed with different materials; a new way to wear denim and to fit in with your personal style.

I find the best way to wear a denim jacket is to layer it with other pieces such as cardigans and button-up shirts. In my opinion, they can be dressed up or worn casually, depending on what you style it with. Pairing it with a plain or patterned tee gives off an effortless vibe, whereas with a pair of tailored trousers, you instantly look sharp and polished while forever on trend.

I like to get mine from stores such as New Look as they come in a range of sizes and styles, therefore I can always get one big enough to layer with, and find one to match any outfit. New Look know how to maintain style without losing any comfort, so I like to stick with a high street brand that I am familiar with. You will never walk the streets without seeing someone in denim, and you will always find one piece of denim somewhere on my outfit, so why not make a denim jacket your staple too?

Everybody loves a bit of merchandise, whether it’s for your favourite band, favourite singer, or favourite TV show, a bit of merch is always a good way to show your love and dedication.

Hello everyone!

I would like to apologise for my lack of posts recently, it has been a very busy and stressful few weeks for me. The combination of my birthday, my dissertation being due, and just general madness in life, I have had no time whatsoever to write some epic posts.
